The public call for business entities to use subsidies to support the work of the hotel industry due to the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is open from September 1st until September 15th, 2020.
Hotels which have the right to claim these non-refundable funds are hotels which are privately owned and located on the territory of local self-government units.
The basic preconditions for acquiring the right to use subsidies are that no bankruptcy proceedings, financial restructuring or liquidation proceedings have been initiated against the entities in question, as well as that no procedure for a pre-prepared reorganization plan.
The funds are allocated in the amount of 350 euros per individual bed and 150 euros per accommodation unit in dinars equivalently calculated at the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day when the state aid was granted. An economic entity loses the right to use the subsidy if it reduces the number of employees by more than 10%, in the period from 15.08.2020. years ending on 31.12.2020.
